The Intramural Sports Intern will act as the primary manager of the University's intramural program and will also assist with supervising the University fitness centers and club sport operations. * Hiring, training and evaluating intramural student staff of 75-100 employees. * Provide direct supervision to student employees and ensure employee compliance with department expectations. * Conduct ongoing student employee training sessions and student employee evaluations. * Oversee the planning, scheduling and administration of intramural games, tournaments and special events. Ensure participant compliance with department policies and procedures. * Maintain inventory of intramural equipment. * Facilitate sport specific captain and employee meetings. * Compile and maintain intramural records, end of year reports, participation records, operations manual, rule updates, etc. * Maintain the intramural website. * Responsible for the routine marketing of intramural programs. * Also responsible for assisting with other athletic/club sport events as assigned by the Coordinator of Intramurals & Aquatics. * All duties and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. * Bachelor's Degree. * Experience working in intramural sports at the collegiate level preferred. Experience in officiating preferred. * Some nights and weekends required. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
