You will serve as a Security Cooperation Programs Manager in the Security Cooperation Division, Strategic Planning and Policy Directorate, Headquarters of United States Indo-Pacific Command. You will:Analyze Security Assistance and Security Cooperation portions of strategic planning documents and propose changes.Develop policy recommendations for technology transfer and munitions licenses.Plan and execute conferences, working groups, and meetings.Determine manpower, fiscal, and equipment resources required to accomplish command missions.Provide direct managerial oversight and serve as the lead or assistant lead.Requirements:Conditions of Employment:Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most of the following:Provides management oversight to divisions for all Security Assistance and Security Cooperation programs and activities.Conducts daily liaison (personal, written, electronic, and telephonic) with commands and related organizations.Reviews funding requirements and approves annual funding plans for the Security Cooperation Organization.Develops policy recommendations.Reviews, amplifies, and applies policy guidance within commands.Analyzes strategic planning documents and proposes changes.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This is an obligated position. The former incumbent has return rights to this position under PL 86-585. Term appointments may be extended up to 8 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you may be noncompetitively converted to a permanent career-conditional or career appointment under specific conditions. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Several vacancies may be filled.A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
