Director of Digital Marketing

Purpose:

The Director of Digital Marketing will report to the Vice President of Marketing and be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing strategies. This role involves enhancing our online presence through various digital channels to increase brand awareness, engage our community, and support our mission. The Director of Digital Marketing will oversee all social media marketing, copywriting, website management, and SEO for Guadalupe Centers, Inc.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Develop, manage and execute social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

Create and curate engaging content that aligns with our brand and mission

Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to optimize campaigns

Oversee the creation of compelling and creative copy for various digital marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, blogs, and website content

Ensure all copy aligns with our brand voice and messaging

Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and create impactful content

Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the Guadalupe Centers website

Update website content regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance

Work with web developers to implement enhancements and troubleshoot issues

Optimize the user experience and ensure the website is mobile-friendly

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings

Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization

Monitor and report on website traffic and SEO performance using tools like Digital Reach and Google Analytics

Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and best practices

Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media, copywriting, website management, and SEO

Proven experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content

Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity

Experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge

Proficiency in SEO tools and techniques, including Google Analytics and keyword research tools

Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Passion for the mission and values of Guadalupe Centers

Bilingual (English and Spanish) oral and written required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and marketing software: Canva, Adobe, or similar.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with others, move, and sit frequently. The employee may also be required to lift or move objects of up to 20 pounds. Work Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
