Moe's Southwest Grill in Hartford County is looking to add a traveling General Manager to our team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Works with staff to achieve sales goals

Build rapport with all General Managers at each location and facilitate operations

Helps in the hiring and training process at our operating locations

Build a rapport with guests and deliver superior customer service

Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a positive and professional manner

Learn restaurant philosophy, menus, and operational systems

Provide training and mentoring to new crew members

Directly manage crew members, shift leads, and assistant managers

Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action

Labor management

Adhere to sanitation and safety standards

PCI compliance

Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Management experience in food service or another related field is required

Experience in controlling food, labor, and other operating costs

Ability to multi-task and execute in a fast-paced environment

Able to work long and/or irregular shifts, including extra shifts, as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant (day/evening, weekends, and some holidays)

Experience with people management, resolving conflict, and able to nurture, train, coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable

High level of initiative and self-motivated

Strong organizational skills, time management, and deadline-oriented

Possess solid communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Must have reliable transportation

Requirements:

Punctuality and consistent attendance

Must be able to respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers

Pay:

$63,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
