Lead Grants Analyst

As a Grants Analyst, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and financial compliance of our grant-funded projects. You'll work closely with program managers and accounting teams to manage all aspects of grant administration, from award acceptance to closeout.Key Responsibilities:Grant Setup and Management:Participate in pre-award meetings to review budgets, cash balances, sub-awards, and invoice requirements.Ensure proper system setup and provide necessary training.Analyze sponsor award documents for compliance and provide guidance on fiscal management.Financial Reporting and Reconciliation:Reconcile financial activity and prepare monthly financial reports, budget adjustments, and invoices.Ensure direct costs align with grant management guidelines and regulations.Prepare and interpret financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.Financial Analysis and Compliance:Provide regular updates to program managers on account status and fund availability.Review payroll reports and expenses for grant accuracy and compliance.Apply relevant regulations and guidelines, advising on potential risks and mitigation strategies.Enter journal entries and budgets into the financial system.Assist with audits of grants and contracts.Serve as back-up to the Grants Accountant when needed.Qualifications:Experience with government regulations, cost principles, and administrative requirements for contracts and grants.Experience with F&A costs.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Salary:
