Job SummaryIn this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Attorney Advisor for the Office of Chief Counsel and will be responsible for providing legal advice on agency policies, procedures, proposed regulations, and proposed legislation. 15Major Duties:Serving as co-counsel or assisting Assistant United States Attorneys in matters before the United States courts.Performing litigation, including taking and defending depositions, producing and requesting written discovery.Providing guidance and make recommendations on settlements of FTCA claims and litigation.Advising agency managers on occupational safety and health matters.Reviewing and providing legal advice on agency policies, procedures, proposed regulations, and proposed legislation.Education:This position has a positive education requirement. You must submit a copy of your transcripts (unofficial are acceptable) with your online application.
