Executive DirectorWhat You’ll Do:Lead & Supervise:

Manage a team of part-time employees across three shifts. Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff to maintain a clean and safe facility. Address maintenance and custodial complaints with swift, effective solutions.Budget Oversight:

Develop and manage program budgets, meeting financial targets, and controlling expenses in consultation with the Executive Director.Maintain & Oversee:

Direct the daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks, including equipment upkeep, facility cleanliness, and minor repairs. Perform hands-on custodial work approximately 40% of the time.Manage & Organize:

Develop and oversee departmental budgets, manage supply inventory, and ensure timely purchasing. Use electronic facility management software to track and organize tasks and supplies.Ensure Safety:

Serve as a First Responder in emergencies, model safety practices, and instruct others on safety procedures. Assist with pool maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues as needed.What We’re Looking For:Experience & Education:

High school diploma required (Associate’s degree preferred). 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping and general maintenance, including supervisory experience. Proficient in operating both small and large machinery.Skills & Certifications:

Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively. Current certifications in CPR AED and First Aid, or willingness to obtain them within 30-60 days.Leadership & Organization:

Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills with a track record of managing and training staff. Knowledge of fiscal management, supply purchasing, and facility management software preferred.Key Responsibilities:Act as a First Responder during emergencies, ensuring safety and adherence to center procedures.Oversee and perform daily cleaning and minor maintenance tasks to keep the facility in top condition.Develop and monitor departmental budgets, manage supply inventory, and handle equipment purchases.Serve on the leadership team and participate in the Manager on Duty rotation.Represent the YMCA in the Association Buildings and Grounds Cabinet and as a liaison for the Community Advisory Board's Buildings and Grounds Task Force.Assist with maintenance support at additional YMCA locations as required.Join Our Team:This is more than just a job; it's a chance to lead a team and ensure our new facility thrives in a clean and safe environment.
