$65,449General Responsibilities

The assistant director of the Step UP program is responsible for the leadership, vision, and direction of this high-impact program that offers coaching services to HCC students to ensure course success and overall persistence. Responsibilities include:Oversee day-to-day program operations to ensure appropriate and timely coaching takes place.Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including FERPA and Title IX.Train, supervise, and support program coaches, including onboarding of all new coaches.Collaborate with the Director of the Silas Craft Collegians Program.Lead program marketing and outreach activities, recruitment, and enrollment.Foster strategic partnerships with other academic areas.Initiate contact with Step UP student non-completers to gather program improvement ideas.Develop and manage the program budget in compliance with college policies.Direct Step UP scholarship selection and tracking.Lead the collection, management, and evaluation of critical data.Oversee maintenance of internal and external online communication tools.Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education Required:

Bachelor's degreeMinimum Number of Years Experience Required:

3Other Knowledge Required:Three years of administrative experience, encompassing budget management and personnel supervision.Operational knowledge of Office 365 and database software.Experience with program evaluation and assessment.Excellent organizational and planning skills.Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.High-level analytical skills for data evaluation.Regular attendance is required.Creativity, problem-solving, and research skills.Excellent project management skills.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Working Conditions
