The Intelligence Analyst will work directly with their Manager and the EIS team to produce analysis addressing client-specific requirements and manage client engagements, including the client travel risk management program.The Intelligence Manager position will ideally be onsite in Hunt Valley, Maryland; however, candidates able to be based in the Crisis24 Annapolis office will also be considered.The Intelligence Analyst will be available to travel to client locations as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required on a case-by-case basis.What You Will Work OnServe as the senior point of contact for all communication between the client and Crisis24Gather, assess, and disseminate analysis on the nature of global security threats, what the likely affects are, and the likelihood that they will affect the client's travelers, assets, and operationsActively monitor open source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real time for issues that could affect business operations and personnelUsing the intelligence cycle, research, assess, and support the production of written intelligence products that meet client requirements as well as EIS analytic standards, including but not limited to: Travel Threat Assessments, Location Threat Assessments (Neighborhood-, City-, or Country-level), Site Threat Assessments, Event Threat Assessments, Requests for Intelligence, Daily Incident Assessments or Intelligence Products, Threat Forecasting, Scenario Forecasting, Social Media Monitoring, Online Exposure AssessmentsDeliver oral and written threat briefings to members of the client's security team or business leadership teamsCoordinate traveler outreach and manage the high-risk travel programUnderstand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needsWork with security team members effectively and efficientlyCoordination of prompt, high-quality responses to client requestsSuggest to client potential improvements to the program and facilitate their implementationManage client expectations by understanding the EIS team's product offerings and limitationsTrack and report metrics around production and deliverablesServe as point of contact for implementation of new PRM tools, systems, and processesCoordinate all other shared actions between Crisis24 and clientManage branded intranet page and related communicationsWho You Will Work WithThe analyst joins Crisis24's Embedded Intelligence Services division and will be embedded with an established client. The individual will collaborate with Crisis24 intelligence and security peers, the dedicated team, as well as the client.What You Will BringBachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, enterprise risk management or a related field requiredDemonstrated experience writing clearly, technically, and concisely in a professional setting, preferably in a fast-paced environmentAbility to collect data and synthesize incomplete and contradictory informationIntimate understanding of deriving information from social media platforms and online tools to conduct research and analysisSuperb judgment and critical thinkingGlobal awareness and understanding with appreciation in how geopolitical, environmental, and security threats can adversely affect a multinational organizationExtensive customer service experience in a client-facing roleEstablishing and maintaining positive professional rapport with other analysts and client contactsAbility to take initiative and identify self-improvement areas for own development and the teamEffective problem-solving and time-management skillsWorking knowledge of Google Earth and Maps or alternative mapping softwareForeign travel and experienceInformation SecurityProtect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Crisis24, A GardaWorld Company is dedicated to equal opportunity in employment.
