Who We Are Looking For
Under the general direction of the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) department, the Intelligence Analyst will support the analytical and programmatic needs of client engagements. The Intelligence Analyst will work directly with their Manager and the EIS team to produce analysis addressing client-specific requirements and manage client engagements, including the client travel risk management program.
The Intelligence Manager position will ideally be onsite in Hunt Valley, Maryland; however, candidates able to be based in the Crisis24 Annapolis office will also be considered. The Intelligence Analyst will be available to travel to client locations as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required on a case-by-case basis.
What You Will Work On
Serve as the senior point of contact for all communication between the client and Crisis24
Gather, assess, and disseminate analysis on the nature of global security threats, what the likely effects are, and the likelihood that they will affect the client's travelers, assets, and operations
Actively monitor open source media, third-party subscription services, and other sources in real time for issues that could affect business operations and personnel
Using the intelligence cycle, research, assess, and support the production of written intelligence products that meet client requirements as well as EIS analytic standards, including but not limited to: Travel Threat Assessments, Location Threat Assessments (Neighborhood-, City-, or Country-level), Site Threat Assessments, Event Threat Assessments, Requests for Intelligence, Daily Incident Assessments or Intelligence Products, Threat Forecasting, Scenario Forecasting, Social Media Monitoring, Online Exposure Assessments
Deliver oral and written threat briefings to members of the client's security team or business leadership teams
Coordinate traveler outreach and manage the high-risk travel program
Understand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needs
Work with security team members effectively and efficiently
Coordinate prompt, high-quality responses to client requests
Suggest to client potential improvements to the program and facilitate their implementation
Manage client expectations by understanding the EIS team's product offerings and limitations
Track and report metrics around production and deliverables
Serve as point of contact for implementation of new PRM tools, systems, and processes
Coordinate all other shared actions between Crisis24 and client
Manage branded intranet page and related communications
Who You Will Work With
The analyst joins Crisis24's Embedded Intelligence Services division and will be embedded with an established client. The individual will collaborate with Crisis24 intelligence and security peers, the dedicated team, as well as the client.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, enterprise risk management or a related field required
Demonstrated experience writing clearly, technically, and concisely in a professional setting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collect data and synthesize incomplete and contradictory information
Intimate understanding of deriving information from social media platforms and online tools to conduct research and analysis
Superb judgment and critical thinking
Global awareness and understanding with appreciation in how geopolitical, environmental, and security threats can adversely affect a multinational organization
Extensive customer service experience in a client-facing role
Establishing and maintaining positive professional rapport with other analysts and client contacts
Ability to take initiative and identify self-improvement areas for own development and the team
Effective problem-solving and time-management skills
Working knowledge of Google Earth and Maps or alternative mapping software
Foreign travel and experience
Information Security
Protect the data and systems of Crisis24 and its stakeholders by adhering to policies, reporting incidents and potential problems, completing regular training, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
