In collaboration, we are actively seeking an experienced Trust and Estate Legal Assistant. The firm's commitment to embracing advanced technologies and fostering progressive and innovative thinking allows them to adeptly navigate legal changes. Moreover, their commitment to collaboration presents a great opportunity to work with top lawyers in the city and tap into available tools to continue the development of your legal skills.Responsibilities:Collect information and offer updates on case advancements to attorneys and clients.Assist in the submission of probate and estate administration paperwork.Engage with clients, beneficiaries, and external stakeholders.Oversee and organize client records meticulously, ensuring proper indexing and storage of all documents.Format, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.Support Attorneys in both transactional and litigation trust and estate cases.Docket management, such as handling incoming mail by processing and scanning, ensuring electronic storage and appropriate submission to the Docket.Qualifications:Demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant in Trust and Estates.Ideally with 5+ years of experience (minimum of 4 years).Experience handling Probate cases through litigation.Exceptional organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication abilities, effectively and professionally liaising with clients and external parties.Familiarity with iManage is preferred but not required.Adept at e-filing in state and federal court.Capability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as part of a team.Professional demeanor, upholding the highest standards of client confidentiality and ethical conduct.Comfortable supporting at least three attorneys.Positive attitude and a sense of reliability.If your interest and experience align, please apply or submit a Word version of your resume for immediate and confidential consideration.
