Lakeshore Vineyard Church is a close-knit and compassionate congregation within the Vineyard USA movement. Rooted in our commitment to reaching the lost and broken with the love of Christ, we are dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community engagement, and impactful ministry in our local area. With a current average attendance of 80 adults, our church is characterized by its warmth, openness and passion for serving others.Our ideal candidate will be a gifted teacher, a compassionate shepherd, and a strategic leader who can effectively build and empower teams, manage staff, and steward resources to advance the Kingdom of God in our community.Job Description
Personal Responsibilities:Spiritual Leadership:● Model a life of Christian maturity (i.e. holiness, integrity, respect and compassion).● Foster a culture of unity, collaboration, and servant leadership within the church through team-building initiatives.● Embrace and embody the core values of Vineyard USA, while continuing to uphold the unique ministries and values of Lakeshore Vineyard Church.● Provide encouragement, support, and pastoral care to church members, staff, and volunteers.Preaching/Teaching:● Deliver biblically sound and engaging sermons that effectively communicate the gospel message and its practical application to everyday life.● Guide and build a teaching team, empowering others to share the responsibility of preaching and teaching within the church.Administration/Oversight:● Provide financial leadership by overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.● Lead strategic planning efforts to manage and oversee the various ministries of the church.● Foster staff engagement and development, providing support, guidance, and opportunities for growth.Youth Ministry:● Revitalize our stagnant Youth Ministry, raising up and mentoring effective youth leaders.Pastoral Care:● Work with pastoral staff and lay leaders to provide compassionate care and support to the church body and local community.Worship/Prayer:● Foster a culture of vibrant worship and prayer within the church, facilitating opportunities for corporate worship and intercession.Discipleship/Equipping:● Oversee discipleship strategies, including small groups, mentorship programs, and training opportunities, to facilitate spiritual growth and maturity in the congregation.● Equip and empower leaders and volunteers to provide coaching and mentorship.Community Engagement:● Work with other area churches and community organizations to engage in joint ministry efforts, outreach initiatives, and community service projects.● Encourage ministry leaders to develop and implement programs and activities that effectively disciple and engage children.Qualifications:● Ordination or licensing within the Vineyard USA movement, or willingness to pursue such credentials.● Proven experience in pastoral ministry, with a track record of effective preaching, leadership, and pastoral care.● Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.● A heart for reaching the lost and broken with the love of Christ, with a demonstrated commitment to evangelism and outreach.● Ability to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community partners.● Alignment with the core values and mission of Vineyard USA.How To Apply
