Come be the change-maker and help revolutionize the world of financial aid as our Regional Director of Student Financial Assistance!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Leadership, training, and technical management of the assigned financial aid directors and financial assistance staff working through and in conjunction with each of the campus directors/presidents & regional vice president.Maintain full compliance, at each of the assigned colleges and schools, with all student financial assistance laws, regulations, and requirements of the US Department of Education, Veterans Administration, and Social Security Administration.Implement and monitor strategies that ensure that each of the assigned colleges and schools make full use of all the public and private financial assistance resources generally available to students in postsecondary educational institutions.Monitor the payment of tuition and fees from all sources and implement corrective strategies, in conjunction with the campus director, as needed to ensure that funds due each college and school are paid in full and in a timely fashion.Monitor each college and school’s performance with the return to Title IV calculations.Assist each campus director in maintaining a Federal Work Study program that makes optimum use of the available Federal funding. Specifically, assisting school-based staff with the identification of non-profit employers to fulfill the 7% community service requirement of the FWS program.Assist each campus director/ president in achieving optimum use of the “CampusVue” student data management system to monitor and manage financial aid staff, satisfactory progress, tuition billing, cash receipts, and default management performance.In conjunction with each Campus Director/ President, Manager of Regional Financial Aid Directors, Senior Vice President for Financial Aid, and the Vice President for Finance, develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for all financial assistance and related staff to ensure that all governmental, accrediting body and internal requirements are in full compliance.In conjunction with the Campus Director/ President, Manager of Regional Financial Aid Directors, Senior Vice President for Financial Aid, and the Vice President for Finance, assist each school in achieving full compliance with all accrediting and licensure agency requirements, including reporting requirements, reaccreditation procedures, and any monitoring activities as those requirements relate to financial assistance, tuition accounting responsibilities and specifically refund procedures, admissions requirements, consumer information, and satisfactory academic progress.Other duties as assigned.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Work Hours:

40 per week but may vary daily, and some evening and weekend hours may be required.Travel:

The position requires extensive overnight travel. More than 50% of the incumbent’s work time will take place at colleges and schools.Requirements:Bachelor's degreeAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAt least 5 years of experience in Student Finance/Student Financial AidPrior leadership/management experience of at least 3 years, preferably in Financial AidPrevious working knowledge of CampusVue, FAME, Direct Loan, Common Origination and Disbursement (COD), and NSLDS borrower management systemThorough knowledge and understanding of Title IVWell-developed writing and verbal communication skillsWell-versed in the use of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, OutlookJob Type:
