Sr. Accounting ManagerJob SummaryThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and processing bi-monthly payrolls. This position will work closely with our Finance team, Human Resources, and various departments. This person will report to the Sr. Accounting Manager and also work with the Chief Financial Officer.Key Job Responsibilities

(Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)

Prepare weekly check-run and initiate payments to vendors and employeesRecord A/R collections and other cash depositsManage corporate credit card program and employee expense reportsCreate and enter journal entries which are not limited to fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and reclassesAssists with Tax ID Registration when registering in new states and localitiesProcess bi-monthly payroll with HR ManagerAssist HR Manager with resolving payroll related mattersVerify and record vendor invoices and ensure reimbursable costs billed to clientsMaintain general ledger with Senior Accounting ManagerPrepare and reconcile monthly financial reportsAssist with financial auditsAssist Senior Accounting Manager and CFO with ad-hoc projects

Job Qualifications

(Skills/Requirements)

3+ years of experience in accountingBachelor’s degree in accounting or financeExperience/understanding of payroll processing a plusKnowledge of financial and cost accountingProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communicationExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality of private and personal information
