SSSD Business Management has an opening for a Program Planning and Scheduling Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Redondo Beach, California.

In this position, the Manager will provide supervision, guidance, and development to a small team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts and will prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.

This position requires the incumbent to possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance or access to Special Compartmentalized Information (SCI) at time of application.

Roles and responsibilities include:

Perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews

Oversee staffing, performance management, and coaching development of the Business Management professional staff

Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated

Provide weekly status and reporting

Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits

Create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership

Effectively work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager

Implements scheduling best practices, including:

DCMA 14-point

IPMR DI-MGMT-81861

NDIA EIA-748 32 Guidelines

Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

Critical Path Methodology (CPM)

Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)

Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

6 years of experience in Planning & Scheduling, Finance, Pricing, Program Management, or Engineering; OR Master’s degree with 4 years of stated experience

Leadership experience

DoD TS Clearance and/or SCI access at time of application

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Project Server environment

Knowledge of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:

$138,100 - $207,100
