POSITION SUMMARY:
Aprimo is currently seeking a dynamic, energetic presenter to join our Presales/Solution Consulting team to help drive sales of the Aprimo platform, tools, and services. Having worked in a similar role in the digital asset management or marketing operations space, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a penchant for problem-solving, communicating, and product evangelism to help drive results in this growing space.
Successful candidates will be responsible for contributing to Aprimo’s sales efforts. As a key member of the account team, this role provides subject matter expertise at the right point in the sales cycle, helps to drive quality sales discovery, delivers sales presentations and product demonstrations, and serves as a trusted resource to the sales organization and prospect organizations.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Pre-sales support and advocacy around the Aprimo Digital Asset Management, Aprimo Marketing Operations, and Aprimo Planning set of capabilities for mid-market and large enterprises.
Communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure sales success.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert.
Gathering application requirements to facilitate the selling process with prospective customers.
Provide customer-centric product demonstrations, chalk talks, and general sales support in interactions with prospective customers.
Becoming and staying informed on vertical markets and technical matters with our customers and prospects.
Effectively demonstrating and communicating the capabilities and value of our solutions.
Providing feedback and knowledge gained from customers and prospects to Product Engineering.
Work with the Sales team to engage and influence prospects, converting them into customers.
Maintain deep technical knowledge as it relates to the Marketing applications.
Be an active participant in responding to RFPs.
Additional responsibilities and duties as required.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:
Strong, demonstrable understanding of content, marketing planning, workflow management, marketing asset management, and marketing spend management.
Extensive background in driving marketing efficiencies through marketing operations technologies.
3-5 years of progressive experience in or supporting sales organizations (pre-sales, account management, product management).
Demonstrated ability to present in front of all types of audiences (public forums, c-level leaders, etc.).
Ability to build relationships to successfully collaborate both internally with colleagues and with partners.
Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work well both independently and as a proactive team member.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to remain in stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and performing sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Must be able to move about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Must be able to perform light physical work that includes lifting or moving objects up to 20 lbs. or medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Must be able to communicate with others to exchange information, including conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Must possess the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication at normal speaking levels.
Must be able to repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (i.e., repeated typing, etc.).
The worker is required to have close visual awareness to perform an activity and to assess the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned, such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
