We embrace change and always look for the next evolution of what we can do.About the Role:This position is responsible for assisting the store manager in managing the retail sales and rental staff, as well as the operational and merchandising functions of the store to achieve maximum profitability and to continue to provide the best-in-class guest service for which Christy Sports is known.Essential Functions:Demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest serviceAssist store manager in hiring, training, coaching, leading and maintaining a high-quality staffFunction as a training resource for employees in POS, product knowledge, and salesAssist Store Manager in communicating company values and goals to the employeesAssist Store Manager in monitoring and controlling a daily payroll budgetAdminister policies as may be necessary in coordination with or in absence of store managerAssist store manager in administering company procedures, including cash handling, safety and loss preventionMaintain merchandising and cleanliness standardsManage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goalsDemonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trendsMaintain all company paperwork according to policies and standardsOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:High school diploma of equivalentMinimum of one year of retail experienceMinimum of two years of supervisory experienceProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsEnglish fluency, written and verbalExcellent communications skills both written and verbalSelf-motivated with the ability to multi-taskExperience in the snowsport industryExperience in snowsport rental industry is preferredFamiliarity with retail POS systems is preferredMust be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 poundsThe Perks and Benefits: ( * Benefits for Year Round Full-Time Employees)Free Employee Ski PassMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance*Employer Paid Basic Life Insurance and AD&D*Voluntary Life Insurance (Employee/Spouse/Child)*Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts*401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off*Paid Sick Time (State applicable)Short-Term and Long-Term Disability*Equal Opportunity Employer:Christy Sports is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
