Key Responsibilities

  • New business enablement and solutions, partner to deliver strategic PB initiatives.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve global consistency, work closely across functions and other regions to close gaps and standardise processes.
  • Communicate with clients to solve immediate day to day issues with transactions as well as understand their longer terms needs to shape business decisions in Operations.
  • Build strong relationship with Hub teams to facilitate efficient communications and speedy resolutions of issues.
  • Daily KPI monitoring vs SLA.
  • Onboard clients to the Prime Services platform.
  • Own query remediation, trade life-cycling and other day-to-day processing, ensuring timely escalation, in order to minimise risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovate.
  • Partner with Technology to deliver transformation.
  • Work with PB to identify booking model improvements and drive efficiency.
  • Operations representation for external/internal and regulator scheduled audits.
  • Ensure Audit points are addressed within timelines.
  • Achieve regulatory compliance and future proof the Middle Office model through a strong understanding of current rules and anticipation of upcoming regulations.
  • Adherence to Ops Risk Framework standards of implementation and process management.
  • Continuous review of procedures and booking model.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Onboard clients to the Prime Services platform.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions to improve client experience and generate additional revenue.
  • Provide day-to-day support of clients' trading activities.
  • Monitor credit limits in real time.
  • Perform portfolio analysis to calculate margin and fee requirements.
  • Perform relationship management functions including conducting regular client reviews.
  • Communicate impact of financial market regulation to clients.
  • Work with regional and global teams to facilitate a "follow the sun" support model.
  • Work with the Prime Services business and technology/project teams on new product offerings.
  • Support, manage and execute regional/global initiatives.
  • General communication with Counter parties, IT Support, Credit, Operations, Front Office, Legal and Product Controllers.
  • Adherence to key processes and control requirements.
  • Provide Business Continuity Planning and support.


Skills and Experience

  • Prime Services - Middle Office background/experience.
  • Product knowledge and previous experience in FX, FXO and Rates experience.
  • Experience across different elements regarding front end of Prime Services.
  • Min 3-4 years' experience in Financial Markets or Prime Services.
  • Process Improvement, Enhancement efficiencies background.

Recruitment Assessments

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 93,125 USD to 139,687 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
