Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our restaurant operations. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant, maintaining high standards of food quality and service, and managing a team of dedicated staff members.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance to the restaurant staff
Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including food production, service, and customer satisfaction
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inventory and control costs
Recruit, train, and supervise staff members
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies
Requirements:
Previous experience in food service management or restaurant management is required
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing costs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
