Aya Healthcare has an exciting 1 year contract opportunity located in Columbus, OH (hybrid)!Job Details:JOB TITLE: Change Management ConsultantCONTRACT DURATION: 1 YearSHIFT: M-F 8-5pmLOCATION: Columbus, OH (hybrid)PAY: $69-72hrONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.DETAILS ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Change Management Consultant is responsible for planning and executing organizational change management (OCM), collaborating with initiative staff and leaders, identifying project risks and creating mitigation strategies, and supporting communication planning, organizational readiness, and stakeholder analyses.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredMaster’s preferred.Experience in previous OCM IT management & healthcare role preferred.Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP, AIM, CMS) preferred.Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, peers, executive leadership, customers, vendors and others.Demonstrated expertise in building consensus across diverse business groups and leaders, and influencing successful outcomes.Strategic thinking with ability to combine broad business, technical and political factors.Deep understanding of program and project management across multiple industries.Consistent exercise of judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Budget management experience.Possess expert knowledge in schedule management.Possesses expert knowledge in various vertical industries and conveys knowledge to others.Pursues excellence in all aspects of business.Position SummaryAs a member of the OSUWMC IT Portfolio Management Office, the Organization Change Consultant serves as a leader of interdisciplinary programs on an enterprise level. The Organization Change Consultant works with executive management across the health system and determines how technology can assist in addressing the needs of the enterprise; then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications. The Organization Change Consultant understands how to leverage the integration of applications and technology for competitive advantage and coordinates dynamic teams of individuals who meet business objectives, schedules, and outcomes.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties of this position are performed with little supervision. Most assignments will be completed independently and some are subject to review and approval by the Team Manager.Organization Change Management (95%)Leads change management activities for unit-specific and project-based strategy mapping activities for medical center and support units as well as for key enterprise-wide projects.Fosters and maintains strong collaborative partnerships, serves as a trusted partner across the organization, and works closely with cross-functional teams to support change efforts.Manages all aspects of the change portfolio and works closely with project managers, business operations team, and director to ensure transparency, identify potential risks, obstacles, and resistance, and ensure initiative success.Applies a structured change management methodology with defined success metrics, identified progress points, and interval impact analyses.Designs and delivers change readiness assessments and documents change readiness plans and identified gaps.Oversees change risk portfolio to identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics and manage anticipated resistance.Supports leaders in their ability to advance strategic priorities and fulfill the mission of the university and participates in process design sessions to ensure clarity and success.Collaborates with IT & medical center’s unit communications to support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications.Works closely with learning and development work stream in ensuring targeted training and support efforts.Educates functional managers on how to identify and manage resistance.Builds a change coalition team across the institution consisting of IT and medical center.Other (5%)Reads and responds to (as appropriate) work-related communications.Develops, implements, complies with, and enforces policies, standards and procedures.Easily recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces.Raises visibility of OSUWMC through involvement in local industry organizations.Self-directs professional development.If certification is required for your role, you are expected to obtain and maintain your certification as a condition of employment.Organizational ExpectationsPractices within the Medical Center's policies and procedures.
