Canyon Oaks Foot and Ankle
is a growing podiatry practice in California. We have recently entered into the nursing facility market and currently have 3 providers and associated staff caring for patients in approx. 60 nursing facilities. We are expanding into the Los Angeles area. The role of the practice manager/marketing specialist will be to open our new area in the Los Angeles region to establish a base of operations including acquiring a rental location, marketing our services to the local nursing facilities, setting up contracts, hiring staff and finally manage day to day operations of the area once the practice has been established. We are growing and are looking for someone who can grow with us.
Description:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of our remote medical practice, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Manage and supervise office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations
Coordinate patient scheduling, including appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information
Manage financial aspects of the office, including billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable/payable
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve overall office efficiency
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical office management role and or medical sales
Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
Experience working with electronic health record systems (eClinical works preferred)
Knowledge of utilization management processes and procedures
Skills:
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working in a dental office or veterinary clinic is a plus
