The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee the company's daily operations, ensuring the organization's efficiency and effectiveness. The COO will work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's mission and goals, with a key focus on driving growth. This role is pivotal in our growth strategy, requiring a deep understanding of the cloud and digital services industry and experience in scaling operations, managing teams, and driving growth in a professional services environment.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the company runs efficiently and effectively.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve productivity and performance.Ensure operational excellence in service delivery, project management, and client satisfaction.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business objectives are met.Strategic Planning:Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plan.Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to drive growth.Lead initiatives to expand service offerings and enhance the company's competitive position in the market.Financial Management:Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure the company's financial health.Optimize operational costs and manage resources efficiently to maximize profitability.Collaborate with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Drive talent management initiatives, including recruitment, retention, and professional development.Client & Stakeholder Management:Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services and solutions.Act as a primary point of contact for escalations and critical client issues.Risk Management & Compliance:Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring industry standards and regulations compliance.Develop and implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.Growth, Business Origination, & Sales:Lead business development efforts to identify and secure new clients, expanding the company's client base and revenue streams.Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for lead generation, client acquisition, and market penetration.Engage with potential clients, presenting the company's value proposition and negotiating contracts to close deals.Work closely with the sales team to set targets, track progress, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Foster strategic partnerships and alliances that support the company's growth and market expansion.Continuously assess market trends, client needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and business development initiatives.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role within the professional services or technology industry.Proven experience winning new work in the government services sector.Extensive knowledge of cloud services, DevSecOps, digital transformation, and related technologies.Strong strategic thinking and business development skills, with a track record of driving growth and profitability.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, focusing on building and maintaining a high-performance culture.Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.Why IronArch Technology?Awarded Best Place to Work 8 times!Competitive compensation and market-leading bonus opportunitiesMedical, dental and vision benefits where a significant portion of the premium is subsidized by IronArch.401(k) retirement plan with immediate entry and immediate vesting20 days of PTO accumulated per calendar year11 paid holidaysCompany-paid short- and long-term disabilityProfessional development reimbursementMatching donation program and annual philanthropic activitiesApply today to learn why IronArch Technology has been recognized as 'Best Place to Work' for 8 years!IronArch Technology is an equal opportunity employer.
