Position Overview:
The Director of Finance will oversee all financial aspects of the organization and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and team leadership. This role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will collaborate closely with other senior leaders to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and long-term goals.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the budgeting process and create accurate financial forecasts to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Risk Management:
Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks while optimizing financial performance.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with other departments to support business strategy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial software and systems; experience with QuickBooks Online a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
