Summary :

The Director of Warehouse Operations will oversee the management of the day-to-day operations of the company’s warehouse facilities. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient storage, distribution and transportation of goods, maintaining high standards of safety, and optimizing productivity. The Director of Warehouse Operations will lead a team of warehouse managers to drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring that the warehouse operations align with the company’s overall business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with executive-level management in development and delivery of key operational strategy.

Direct and oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment and shipping.

Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances and areas for cost optimization.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action as needed.

Deliver key budgetary performance goals and long-term operational plans that maintain and expand the company’s operational abilities with a strategic view for present and future.

Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day operations systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.

Oversee inventory control process to ensure accurate tracking of stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and optimize space utilization.

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Build and support an industry leading team with focus on building talent and abilities.

Complete or assist on special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 5 in a leadership role.

Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations with P&L responsibility.

Competencies:

Strong knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain principles.

Experience with warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong organization and problem solving skills.
