Under the command of the Undersheriff, Captain, and direct supervisors of a Lieutenant or Sergeant, Law Enforcement Officers will perform various duties to ensure public safety and enforcement of Federal, State, and Local Laws.The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $2,500 recruitment incentive after successful completion of the required training period. $1,000 is paid after completion of training, generally lasting twelve to sixteen weeks. The additional $1,500 will be paid eight weeks after the completion of training. Then, to reward your commitment to the department and community, employees are eligible for a $500/month retention incentive following 6 months of employment, subject to attendance criteria.Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.Ability to comply with all Michigan Commission On Law Enforcement Standards (M.C.O.L.E.S.) and be certified or certifiable at the time when eligible candidates apply.Must possess a valid Michigan Driver's License.Must be a US Citizen.Schedule Information

12 hour shiftsEvery other weekend off
