Description of Work

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is seeking a highly qualified Administrative Specialist II professional who will be responsible for comprehensive administrative support to the SBI Information Technology (IT) Section. Typical work activities include the following:

Perform daily administrative tasks, including but not limited to, scheduling meetings, managing calendars, preparing reports, preparing procurement requests and maintaining departmental documentation and other assigned duties.Act as a point of contact for the IT department, liaising with other departments, external vendors and stakeholders.Prepare, edit, and distribute technical documents, presentations and correspondence to ensure documents are correct and follow IT department standards.Organize and coordinate meetings, including setting up video/teleconferencing services, preparing meeting materials and taking minutes.Provide support on IT projects by coordinating resources, preparing timelines and creating/editing documentation.Enter data into various IT systems and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of information.This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with
