Overview
As an Applications/Quoting Engineer, you will work to develop an accurate budget and project quote outlining key concept points, sequence of operations and mechanical descriptions to ultimately create custom integrated systems for our customers. Job Responsibilities
Generate conceptual solutions for problems that have no previous or standard solutionInteract with customers throughout requirements definition, concept generation, cost development, and presentation of the proposalDevelop a comprehensive quote package that addresses all customer requirementsCollaborate with the functional sales and management teams to ensure technical alignmentPresent concepts to customers highlighting competitive advantagesManage the internal proposal design processUp to 25% travel to customersRequirements & Skills
Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related industry experience. Mechanical or Mechatronics engineer would be ideal5 + years of industry experience leading successful projects (preferably in the automation industry)Experience in quoting, sales, and/or customer interactionFamiliarity with Electrical & Pneumatic controls designbility to read and understand electrical and mechanical design drawingsUtilize extensive industrial knowledge and effectively working with project teams and customers to design and estimate complete systemsAbility to identify and quantify cost factors, such as time, materials, expenses, tooling, etc.Exposure to Salesforce.com preferredSalary:
$100,000 plus 5% bonus
