Staff Accountant
to join our client in the manufacturing industry on a contract basis. Located in
Lisle, IL
the
Staff Accountant
will report to the Accounting Manager and work alongside a team of 6 individuals. The company is a large, well-established food manufacturer. The main responsibilities for this
Staff Accountant
will focus on reconciling various accounts, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with month end close. This
Staff Accountant
is being hired on a contract basis for approximately 3 months to assist the organization during their busy season. The ideal
Staff Accountant
will be able to begin immediately.Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain Account ReconciliationsPrepare and enter Journal Entries for monthly accrualsReviews of profit and cost centers, for month end , identify abnormalities and adjust or reclassesWork with accounting and A/P to review codingResearch transactions inconsistent with trends, look for missing invoices and validate for completenessComplete Fixed Asset counts or accrualsClear GRIR transactionsAssist with other tasks and longer-term projects related to warehouse, transportation, procurement, or other Supply Chain areasOther duties as assignedStaff Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred3+ years of relevant experienceAdvanced Excel proficiency (v-look ups and pivot tables)Strong attention to detail and analytical skillsIf you or anyone you know is interested at qualified, please apply!
