This role reports directly to the Sr. Accountant and will be responsible for all technical and operational aspects of general accounting for the company. This includes a working knowledge of accounting and finance, ERP systems, an ability to drive process and controls improvement, and work effectively in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.The Staff Accountant works closely with manufacturing, FP&A, purchasing, facilities, quality, and other parts of the organization and is responsible for account reconciliations, monthly variance analysis, gap resolution, financial close, report generation, and operations-related management reporting.Responsibilities
Key contributions in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts.Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets as assigned.Set up and maintain vendor master data.Book daily cash entries and perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.Assist in the preparation of SOX controls.Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.Provide hands-on implementation support for ERP implementations, acquisition integrations, etc., as required.Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis and operations teams to further build out periodic management reporting.Perform special accounting analysis and projects, as requested.Work to improve financial processes.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.Very strong attention to detail and professional curiosity.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multitask and meet assigned deadlines.Strong Excel skills (comfortable with pivot tables/large data manipulation).Understanding of US GAAP and SOX internal controls.Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills.Skilled in root cause, corrective action activities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.What Repligen Offers

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $60,335 - 75,864. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
