JOB DESCRIPTION:

Driven Brands is seeking a driven VP of AR & AP - Financial Operations. Driven Brand’s financial organization is going through a transformation and this skilled VP will have a focus on optimization and taking initiative that requires a tech-savvy vice president who can utilize technology, improve processes, and enable team members to support the growth of the Company and build a high-performing financial operations organization. This role will report to the chief accounting officer and will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and will improve the performance and capabilities of accounts payable and accounts receivable along with credit and collections.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Vice President of Financial Operations will directly manage an assistant, an accounts payable leader, and an accounts receivable leader. The vice president will indirectly manage a team of up to sixty. The vice president will interact with key stakeholders in treasury, finance, accounting, and audit. The vice president will provide leadership to the financial operations organization and will manage the team responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billings and collections of receivables and payments of invoices to franchises and customers/vendors. The vice president will optimize systems to drive processes and operational efficiencies and ensure SOX compliance.

FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

Lead and manage the AR and AP teams, including setting performance goals, developing talent, and fostering a strong team environment.

Develop and implement strategic policies and procedures to streamline AR and AP processes, ensuring timely collections, accurate payments, and strong internal controls.

Drive automation and continuous improvement by leveraging technology solutions to optimize workflows, minimize manual tasks, and improve data accuracy.

Utilizing Oracle Fusion, manage and further automate the accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Oversee internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures for both AR and AP functions.

Support finance and accounting management as it relates to (payments, billings, and collections).

Collaborate and drive strategic initiatives with members of the finance and operational leadership teams.

Assist in the tracking and reporting of departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).

Assist in the preparation of budgets and/or forecasts.

Assist in the development of ad hoc reports for management or regulatory filings.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field.

Minimum of twelve years of progressive accounting and finance operations experience.

Experience leading Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable financial operations in a large organization is required.

Prior experience managing and mentoring a large team, required.

Experience assessing and optimizing AR & AP processes and technology.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and work with a sense of urgency and responsibility while demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Oracle, nice to have.

Able to think strategically and develop long-term financial strategies that align with the company's overall goals.

Ability to work cross functionally across the organization.

Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness to others' needs, attention to detail and accuracy.
