Patient Accounts - Revenue Cycle Director

This is a full time (0.8 - 1.0) salaried-exempt Revenue Cycle Director position in the Patient Accounts department.
The Revenue Cycle Director oversees effective programs for optimal billing, collections, and accurate coding of services and procedures performed by Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and any other provider performing billable services. Revenue Cycle Director works under immediate direction and supervision of Executive Director of Community Physician Group. The Revenue Cycle Manager works collaboratively with staff and management to support the mission, values and strategic plan of Community Medical Center.
Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications in CPC and/or CCS.
Healthcare financial supervisory experience.
Minimum five (5) years practice management experience.
Extensive knowledge of practice management billing software system and implementation, including EMR building and customized report generation.
Extensive knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 and CPT coding principles and guidelines.
Strong knowledge of revenue cycle, billing, collections, reimbursement systems, and third-party payer types.
Knowledge of accounting/finance systems, computer literate, excellent analytical and interpretive skills.
Microsoft office products, Hospital practice management systems.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
