The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers while being attentive to details.Job Description:Reviews current status of customer accounts to identify and resolve billing processing problems in a timely manner.Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.Maintains billing accounts and records.Produces reports as required by management.Assists with collections.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivableExcellent analytical and math skillsProficient in Microsoft Suite, especially in ExcelStrong written and communication skillsSkill in dealing with multiple projects and interruptionsStrong organizational skills; attention to detailAbility to analyze financial reportsAbility to prepare accounting reportsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines as assignedAbility to maintain effective working relationshipsFull cycle accounting and generally accepted accounting principles knowledgeSAGE software or Syspro ERP background is a plusBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance: Company covers 80% for employees only.Life Insurance: Covered by the company.401k Dollar for Dollar matching up to 3%, eligible to enroll after one full year with the company.
