Exercise Analyst Subject Matter Expertise (SME)
Responsibilities:
Assist military and government service personnel in the design, planning, coordination, synchronization, preparation, and execution of training/exercise events.
Enable HRF/CERFP training and evaluation mission capability within the team as a full-time equivalent Exercise Analyst SME.
Plan and coordinate the development of training Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) or other scripted training scenarios to develop staffs at the battalion/brigade levels and Technical Support Forces (TSF) unit emergency response skills.
Focus on staff operations, mission command, operations, and logistics during the execution of training exercises and evaluations.
Qualifications:
Experience in designing, planning, and coordinating training exercises, including the development of MSEL and scripted training scenarios.
Ability to analyze complex situations, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and provide actionable feedback and recommendations.
Understanding of mission command principles and staff operations, as well as CBRN threats and emergency response protocols.
Familiarity with logistics processes in military operations and conducting after-action reviews.
Clear communication skills, keen attention to detail, and demonstrated leadership skills.
Experience as an emergency responder accredited by IFSAC or Pro Board.
Fully qualified in accordance with OSHA requirements, NIMS, and NFPA 1670 training qualification standards.
Knowledge of current Army Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Training and Evaluation Outlines (T&EOs), and concept of employment operations for the specific mission being supported.
Experience and knowledge of TSF chemical, medical, and search & rescue units in relation to the Incident Command System.
Possess Hazardous Material First Responder Operations Level certification and relevant training in basic hazard assessment techniques and decontamination procedures.
