Mass Casualty Decontamination (MCD) Operations (OPNS) Subject Matter Expertise (SME)

Responsibilities:

Assist military and government service personnel in the preparation and execution of training/exercise events.

Provide exercise support service MCD OPNS SME to enable DCRF and C2CRE A&B Technical Support Forces (TSF) training and evaluation mission capability.

Develop training Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) or other scripted training scenarios to develop MCD skills and TSF unit emergency response skills.

Conduct unit or venue specific visits, including planning meetings and Site Surveys.

Focus on ambulatory decontamination, non-ambulatory decontamination, technical decontamination, and Casualty Collection Point (CCP) operations in a mass casualty environment during training exercises and evaluations.

Qualifications:

Deep understanding of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats and response protocols.

Familiarity with the latest CBRN response equipment, technology, and tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Able to coordinate and plan training events, including site visits and meetings, and create realistic training scenarios.

Ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions during training evaluations.

Experience and knowledge working in this field as an emergency responder, accredited by IFSAC or Pro Board.

Fully qualified IAW OSHA requirements, NIMS, and NFPA 1670 training qualification standards.

Knowledge of current Army Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Training and Evaluation Outlines (T&EOs) relevant to the mission being supported.

Experience and knowledge of TSF chemical, medical, and search & rescue units in relation to Incident Command System operations.

Possess Hazardous Material First Responder Operations Level certification.
