What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Meet and exceed sales targets by educating potential customers and supporting the application processFollow up on new leads and referrals from various sources, including inbound calls and marketing activitiesDevelop and maintain sales materials to educate physicians and their families on products and servicesMake product recommendations through inbound and outbound calls to meet customer needsTrack customers and applications throughout the application process and maintain accurate sales records
What is Required (Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent requiredMinimum of 3 years of successful experience in telesales or other sales roles with an insurance focusMust have demonstrated knowledge of medical liability insurance products for the medical communityLicensed and appointed in accordance with insurance laws and regulations in the relevant statesStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to develop customer relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Experience with disability, life, and/or long-term care insuranceProven sales track record of achieving sales quotasAbility to create, compose, and edit written materials such as proposals and contract documentsFamiliarity with physicians’ insurance needs and related productsFlexibility to work evening and weekend hours
