is looking to hire a
Nursing Director
for our newest facility in
Southwest Houston, TX!
This role is responsible for helping maintain the day-to-day operations and overseeing and coordinating the nursing and administrative department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for day-to-day operations of the clinic
Monitors and reinforces policies, procedures, and ethical conduct
Provides oversight and training to the intake, front desk, medical assistants, and scheduling departments
Resolves issues in a real-time environment, including customer service issues and patient complaints
Oversees staff regarding work assignments, clinical priorities, and performance issues of clinical staff
Monitors budget and assists accountants with invoice verifications for payments
Develops and implements office policies and procedures
Maintains medical and staff records
Orders medical and office supplies
Understands the financial background of the office
REQUIREMENTS:
2 years in a leadership role in a surgical setting (e.g. charge nurse/board runner) (required)
Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Strong knowledge of operations, including a strong clinical background specifically in surgery
Ensures the pre-operative and post-operative area has a clean and therapeutic environment for all patients at all times.
Gives instructions to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant
Ensures supplies and equipment needed are available and in good working order
