POSITION OVERVIEW

The Compensation Analyst is a key member of the Total Rewards team with proven experience implementing broad-based organizational programs, policies, and processes. Responsible for partnering closely with HR team members and business stakeholders to manage the job architecture framework and compensation structure on an enterprise basis with the ability to provide analysis, planning, and guidance to execute objectives driving results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct salary surveys and evaluate benchmarking data to understand competitive market landscape.

Leverage data and analytics to inform the compensation strategy, philosophy, job architecture framework, and compensation structure.

Support talent acquisition and the business to ensure offers are aligned with total rewards strategy.

Provide subject matter expertise, advice, and guidance to the business on compensation inquiries.

Monitor use, adoption, effectiveness, compliance, and governance of compensation programs.

Utilize project management skills to include building business cases, preparing project plans, and reporting against metrics.

Ensure consistency with best practices and organizational policies, standards, and procedures.

Develop ongoing training for HR and business stakeholders around compensation programs.

Develop compensation communications with a focus on employee experience.

Other projects and/or duties may be required and will be assigned as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Looking for 3+ years’ experience in Compensation discipline and Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources is preferred.

Experience gained within a production/manufacturing environment or construction materials industry.

Demonstrated ability to successfully implement programs within budget and time constraints.

Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data into clear, concise, actionable recommendations.

Must have a high level of integrity and commitment to comply with all applicable federal/state/industry compliance, record keeping, regulations and standards.

Strong Interpersonal capabilities with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, while building rapport with team members across functions/operating units.

Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site/office and be ready to begin work when scheduled.
