CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.Summary:CPMG is seeking an Intermediate Help Desk Specialist to work onsite in Washington, DC.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Provide in-depth support and lead problem solving and implementation efforts for specific technology products or applications.Attend and receive all required training; familiar with help desk related standard concepts, practices, and procedures.Receive calls, emails, and IT service requests from end users; create IT service tickets, logging all pertinent information.Assist in updating and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (tracking of IT assets).Troubleshoot, upgrade and/or replace Dell hardware and software components including but not limited to operating system installation, motherboard or power supply replacements, and software and license installation.Provide IT technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication ability.Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.Good understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.Good knowledge of internet security principles.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or relevant field experience or Certification as IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience supporting users as an IT technician.Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance or possess an active Public Trust Clearance.The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65 hourly.Pay and BenefitsAt Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
