CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.Summary:The Senior Applications Developer/Programmer will support the Surface Transportation Board (STB) by maintaining and enhancing the Uniform Railroad Costing System (URCS). URCS is a critical system used to estimate the variable costs associated with railroad movements. The role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of software development, system architecture, and data analysis, as well as the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the effective operation and improvement of URCS.Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:Maintain, debug, and enhance the URCS to ensure accurate and reliable cost estimation.Develop and implement new features and functionalities based on user requirements and regulatory changes.Optimize system performance and data processing efficiency.Design, develop, and deploy software applications and tools that support URCS and other STB initiatives.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.Perform other duties as needed.Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).Must have problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, organization skills, and initiative, communication.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on systems similar to URCS.Pass a background investigation.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $159,000 per year.Pay and Benefits:At Goldbelt, we value and reward our team's dedication and hard work.
