Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Senior DevOps Engineer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. In this role, you will initially focus on modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, and upgrade interfaces to improve performance. As the project progresses, you will design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models, consult with engineering staff to develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer problems.Job Responsibilities:Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve performance.Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.Consult with engineering staff to develop specifications, performance requirements, and resolve customer problems.Advise customers on software system maintenance.Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.The Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:Proficiency in Python.Experience with DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools.Experience with Git for version control.Familiarity with Akamai technologies.Proficiency in using Jenkins for continuous integration and delivery.Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, from business/systems analysis through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring to development, testing, and delivery.
