Position Description:

LCG is seeking an experienced IT Governance Specialist with a strong background in cloud implementation, migration, and innovation to join its Information and Technology Services (ITS) department. The role will focus on governance, policy creation, and process management, supporting the organization's efforts to modernize legacy systems and transition to cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advising on governance strategies, ensuring compliance with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) IT charters, and providing leadership in cloud migration efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in governance efforts for the implementation, innovation, and migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with OCC's cloud-forward strategy.Collaborate with ITS divisions to streamline governance, policy creation, and system management for cloud migrations, ensuring policies adhere to the Office of ITS Policy and Portfolio Management (PfMO) standards.Coordinate and maintain governance frameworks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles (KBAs) to support the modernization of OCC's IT systems.Advise on and implement best practices for cloud migration processes, project management, and software data management, ensuring efficient cloud transitions.Provide expert guidance in areas such as software asset management (SAM), vendor management, IT service management, and project management within the cloud and legacy system migration scope.Ensure all migration activities comply with OCC IT policies, charters, and guidelines, supporting a seamless integration of new cloud systems.Facilitate cooperation between ITS staff, contractors, and stakeholders to manage cloud-based systems, maintain service availability, and support ongoing innovation initiatives.Serve as a governance expert for software asset management, ensuring accurate license management and cost efficiency during the migration process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in IT governance, policy development, and project management with a focus on cloud implementation and migration.Proven experience in leading large-scale cloud migration projects, including developing governance frameworks for cloud environments.Familiarity with software asset management tools such as ServiceNow SAMPro, IT Service Management, and ServiceNow Discovery.Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, ITIL, and experience in drafting and implementing IT policies and processes.Experience with vendor management, cloud-based software integration, and ensuring compliance with licensing and software entitlement processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.Preferred: IT governance or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL, ServiceNow CIS-SAM).Experience with cloud migration in government or financial institutions.ServiceNow CIS-SAM certification or IAITAM CSAM certification.Experience in integrating cloud systems with legacy systems and managing the entire lifecycle of IT systems, from planning to decommissioning.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $100,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary would be $85,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
