We are on the lookout for a dynamic professional to lead and develop our Southeast territory, focusing on Real Estate and Hotel Umbrella programs. This position will involve maximizing broker and agent production while collaborating with our underwriting and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a business plan to maximize new business production, balancing new customer acquisition with deepening existing relationships.Identify and engage with retail agencies and brokers in the designated territory with potential customers.Conduct monthly face-to-face meetings with retail brokers.Make weekly prospecting calls to existing and potential brokers.Review, clear, and qualify all submissions received.Gather and document competitive intelligence on other markets and broker usage.Input all prospecting activity in our customer relationship management (CRM) software.Participate in networking events within the insurance and client community.Skills & Qualifications

Working knowledge of retail agency and brokerage operations.A minimum of 5 years of insurance experience with proven ability to sell P&C insurance at a retail or wholesale level.Broker’s license in Property and Casualty in the state of domicile.Proficient in understanding and maintaining personal sales ratios, including insights into performance and areas for improvement.Thorough knowledge of applicable coverage, policy language, and risk management concepts.Working knowledge of Salesforce (or similar CRM), Microsoft Sync, Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and enterprise software.Understanding of insurance pricing and rating concepts, claims operations, and loss control operations.Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Location

This is a remote position, ideally based in Atlanta, GA, though other major cities within the Southeast territory will be considered.

Compensation And Perks
