Interim Director of Nursing (DON) / Registered Nurse (RN)

is seeking a compassionate, quality-driven leader to oversee our health care team and community while we search for a Long Term Director of Nursing. Your support will maintain the connection between community, residents, family, physicians, and staff.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the New Director of Nursing as a Mentor and Trainer.

Assure compliance with state and federal regulations (Medication management, Resident Assessments, Care Plans, Admissions, Discharges).

Coordinate work with unit managers, Nurses, LNA's, Providers, ancillary team members, and families to foster a quality-driven resident experience.

Active Listener with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

The Director of Nursing serves as a critical member of the Leadership Team. Under the direction of the Regional Director of Nursing / Administrator, plans, organizes, develops, and evaluates the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department.

Ensures quality customer service to residents, families, co-workers, and vendors.

Recruits, hires, schedules, supervises, counsels, and evaluates all nursing employees with the support of managers.

Develops and revises Nursing Policy and Procedure Manual as needed.

Follows Safe Work Practices to prevent accidents and injuries within the facility.

Is active in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement practices.

Strives to retain great employees.

Education and Experience:

Graduate of approved Nursing program and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of NH.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long Term Care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation center.

Pay:

$65.00 - $70.00 per hour
