who possesses:B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Computational Biology1-2 years of industry experience in data science, data modeling, or data engineering fieldsExperience in at least one programming language (Java or Python)Experience working with relational databases and database management tools such as SQLFULL DESCRIPTION:Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic data engineer to join our integration team to analyze signals and present results from our diagnostic technology.The Selected Candidate Will Be Responsible For:Develop code to extract key information from raw data collected from instrumentsAutomate entry of metadata and key metrics/results by organizing it all in a databaseProvide query methods so any member of the company can easily access, filter and visualize the information stored on the databaseInterpret and relay trends over time through data visualization tools and dashboardsManage bioinformatics pipeline and work with the development team.The Selected Candidate Will Also Possess:Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, math, statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, or related field AND 1+ years of industry experience in data science, data modeling, or data engineering fieldsExperience in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java)Experience working with relational databases and database management tools such as SQLExperience in analysis of signals from analytical instrumentsExperience developing web apps through Python and/or JavaScript/HTML frameworks (Django, Flask, Vue, Angular, etc.)Familiarity with data visualization and dashboard tools (Tableau, Power BI, Dash, or similar)Salary Range: $90k-$130k/yrFor immediate and confidential consideration, please email your resume to trent@simplybiotech.com or call 858.376.5078.More information can be found at
