The Carroll County Treasurer is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Deputy Treasurer.Qualifications:Strong computer skills with the ability to learn quickly.Detail-oriented and dependable.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to follow procedures and multi-task in a seasonally high-paced work environment.Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, and equipment.Self-motivated and reliable.Essential Duties:Accepting and processing various payments.Cashiering and balancing a cash drawer daily.Assisting with tax inquiries.Maintaining various office records.Preparing office documents for distribution.Education and/or experience in accounting, administrative support, or computer technology is preferred but not required.
