The Commercial Excellence Analyst researches, analyzes, and recommends changes to the organization's business processes such as S&OP, annual business planning, standardization of KPI reporting, and Sales operations functions in order to improve operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability.This role will report into the Director of Commercial Excellence, and candidates should be located within commuting distance of our Stamford, CT office.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Commercial Excellence Analyst, you will play a key role in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of our commercial operations. You will leverage data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, streamline processes, and drive performance improvements across the sales and cross-functional teams. Some key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Supporting the Commercial Excellence team in evaluating current commercial processes and identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and best practices.Monitoring and measuring the impact of process changes to ensure desired outcomes are achieved and course corrections can be implemented if necessary.Performance tracking standardization (e.g. replicable template building).Developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure success and guide future strategies.Facilitating communication and knowledge sharing across teams to carry out effective change management related to process optimization.Working hand-in-hand with the Sr. Manager Commercial Excellence providing analytical support, tool building expertise, and requirements gathering on active optimization projects.Developing recommendations derived from above mentioned key tasks.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree required with 4+ years of CPG analytical experience within multiple functional areas including but not limited to Sales, Forecasting, Finance and Supply Chain.Strong analytical skills with a minimum of 4 years experience working with syndicated databases (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, etc.).Ability to listen well and understand needs of cross-functional stakeholders.Proven ability to think strategically leveraging data sources like Nielsen/IRI and increase effectiveness at achieving overall strategies in a highly collaborative environment.Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX MATCH, COUNT IF, CONCATENATION, ROUND, MAX, MIN), Mathematical function (SUM, DIVIDE ETC.), Power query, pivot tables, etc.Knowledge of VBA for Excel and Power BI platform building skill is a plus.Strong collaboration and PPT presentation skills.Team player, adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment, and ability to handle ambiguity.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:At Beiersdorf, we embrace Diversity and aim to provide equal opportunities to all of our applicants - regardless of gender, sexual identity, nationality, ethnicity, religion or ideology, disability or age.
