We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!About the Role:As the Staff Accountant at Dr. Squatch, you will support the daily accounts payable process for inventory, vendors, and month-end and year-end close duties. A strong candidate for this role will have an intellectual curiosity for various accounting areas and demonstrate strong communication skills. This will be a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting a successful year-end audit.This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager.This is a full-time hybrid role with company benefits based out of Marina Del Rey, CA.The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $80,000 - $110,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.What You'll Do:Manage the Accounts Payable Process for inventory vendorsManage supplier accounts and communicationEnsure Proper 3-Way Match application over inventory vendor billsReview vendor accounts and work with the Supply Chain teams to research and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerProcess corporate credit card expensesPrepare month-end journal entries and account reconciliationAssist with other month-end close activities and provide management with reports as requested for month-end close and year-end audit.Propose efficiency improvements over accounts payable and month-end processesAbout You:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subjectMinimum 3 years experience working in accounting departmentProficiency with ERP accounting software (experience with NetSuite a plus)Proficiency working with AP software (bill.com is a plus but not required)Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, complex formulas, processing large amounts of data)Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industriesExperience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferredSomeone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgencySomeone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcomeSomeone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humorWho We Are:Our core values come naturally and make us a better, more whole, and unique team.
