is dedicated to providing stabilization shelter and services for homeless individuals and families in San Jose. The Residential Services Coordinator’s (RSC) primary role and responsibility is to provide safety supervision of program participants and work collaboratively with other staff in assisting clients towards the goals of permanent housing and stable income. Successful RSC’s will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and diplomatic limit setting.Examples of Duties:Providing crisis management for clients; making linkages for interventions as appropriateSupporting client and facility needsFielding questions from clients and responding to requestsCompleting incident reports as neededProviding safety supervision of program participantsGreeting clients, volunteers, donors, and community partners upon arrivalOverseeing chores, meals, and living space (rounds)Conducting intakes/dischargesOther duties as assignedPosition Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDA BA/BS in Social Services or Education is a plusPersonal or professional experience/education working with mental health clients is a plusAn understanding of, or willingness to learn about, ideas and practices that promote diversity, equity, and inclusionBilingual/Spanish speaking preferred, but not mandatoryWe have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending Account, Dependent Care Reimbursement Account, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K, etc.To learn more about our non-profit organization, check out our website at
