Relocation Assistance available up to $15,000

Pay Range: $84,905 to $123,940 annually

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst applies the principles of accounting and finance to the operations of the whole organization, to ensure that all financial information is presented accurately and timely. This role provides management with assistance in compiling and analyzing information used in decision-making and optimization of financial results. In addition to these duties, they will lead major financial projects and initiatives.

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science in a relevant field: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration

Required Experience:

Ability to provide functional guidance to less experienced analysts.

Ability to influence and provide guidance for all levels within the organization, including executive leadership.

Ability to work and make decisions independently.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database applications.

Effective project management and communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize work load.

Ability to present to both small and large groups and communicate financial information to non-financial managers.

Utilizes available financial information and systems to prepare feasibility studies and decision support analyses (margin analysis, physician practice profiles, etc.) as requested.

Demonstrates confidentiality regarding patient and co-worker information.

Maintains working knowledge of personal computer and mainframe operations.

Uses PC skills in communicating and analyzing data.

Maintains knowledge of general accounting principles.

Maintains competency in all areas of healthcare finance.

Exhibits leadership, integrity, and high level of initiative.

Comfortably and competently presents information to hospital leadership groups (Admin Team, Directors, and Leadership).

Develops a good rapport with internal customers.

Utilizes excellent analytical skills and writes ideas in a concise manner which is easy for the average employee to understand.

Job Related Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:

Hospital experience strongly favored, supporting clinical leaders in analysis of operational and financial performance.

Develops operating and capital budgets, translates operational plans into actions and monitors performance.

Champions labor management, helping leaders understand and monitor their staff plans, explaining variances, and propose improvements.

Prepares proformas and analyzes service line to improve outcomes and profitability.

Clear communicator with varied audiences from clinical and nonclinical, leaders and line staff, accountants and CFOs.

$101,337.00 - $104,567.00 per year
