: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Office Manager for a SHA maintenance shop. This position will oversee and/or perform all aspects of human resource management, procurement, materials and supplies, inventory management, fixed assets, and facility management at the shop. In addition, the Office Manager will assist in the development and monitoring of the budget. This position will also provide guidance regarding business plan performance measures, data collection, and reporting. This position will supervise professional, paraprofessional, and clerical staff, and reports directly to the Resident Maintenance Engineer.Minimum Qualifications:Education : Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.Experience : Five (5) years of experience in administrative staff or professional work.Selective Qualification:

Two (2) years of the required experience must be in human resources, procurement, and/or contract administration.Preferred Qualification:Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written formatAbility to use sound judgmentAbility to plan, organize and direct the work of othersAbility to develop and install administrative procedures and to evaluate their efficiency and effectivenessKnowledge of State procurement laws, policies and regulationsKnowledge of TSHRS and related COMARKnowledge of contract and specification writing techniquesSkill in operating a computer and its related software to prepare letters, reports, contracts, and to maintain information related to these documentsLicenses & Certifications : Candidate must obtain the SHA Level I & II Small Procurement Training Certification during probationary period.TO APPLY:
